Medy one of the founders of HotAnt, brought a spiritual resonance to the first creations we offered. It is this aspect of creativity that was part of the ancient Chinese tradition of artist and their creation as one and the same. The legacy carries on and was expressed beautifully at European trade fairs including Paris (Maison et Objet) and Cologne, both of which HotAnt exhibited (pre-Covid). The SpogaGafa exhibition, in cooperation with our strategic partner CJW (CJ Wildlife brand, Europe’s leading wildlife care distributor) was a creative milestone for HotAnt. This exhibition showed the tremendous opportunities of lifelike animal figurines. What set HotAnt apart from other similar products was the unique infusion of a spiritual essence in their beautifully crafted pieces. Looking forward, this quality fits perfectly with post covid approach to home and garden decor. The times in which we are living have sparked a desire for decor that has a balance between being anchored in the real world, surrounded by artisan pieces, and expert craftsmanship, but that also carry an ineffable, intangible quality that can only be felt, not touched. In a deeply subtle way HotAnt is very much into more than the real world, we express ourselves in our products in a way that fits beautifully in what is known as the Meta world. A perfect example is this extraordinary collection that was initially displayed at Europe’s most prominent trade fairs.
